"OK banjo pickers, I have gotten hold of another RS Mahogany. I sold the last one after one set in Florida 2 weeks ago, and somehow talked Warren into sending me one to replace it, since I only had that banjo to play! There is about an 8 week waiting period on these so if you want one, here's your chance! This is the Mahogany model, and as you can see it is a rich brown color, it has a slim fast neck that plays like butter! All of the RS banjos have that same pre-war tonal quality, but every once in a while you have one that has a little special tone to it, kind of like JD's RB-75. It's not better per say, just a little something special in it. Well, as you can hear this one has something very cool in the tone! It sounds as much like the banjo Crowe played on the Bluegrass Album Band stuff as any I have heard, period! I will let the sound samples speak for themselves. Just excuse the picking! I played this one for 4 days on the road, and recorded with it as well, and it is truely a monster!!!! You will not be disappointed in it, I promise you! "
